We're releasing 3 new features today as well as a few minor improvements:
Cancelling Orders:
To date, the only way to cancel a project has been to dispute the order so our internal team could process the cancellation request.
Beginning today, customers now have the option to initiate a cancellation request to cancel a service within a project.
- The customer can initiate a cancellation request on an order and select from several possible reasons, such as Order is no longer needed, Ordered incorrectly, etc.
- The editor will be notified of this request and can choose to either accept it or decline it.
- If the cancellation is accepted, the order is immediately refunded to the customer's Pixlmob Balance. If the cancellation is denied, the editor is expected to continue working on the order.
We're confident this new feature will help to simplify issues with orders that cannot be completed and expedite applicable refunds to customers. Customers can learn more about this cancellation process here. Editors can explore how this will impact them by reading more here.

Quick List of Recent Projects Together
When a customer views the profile of an editor he has used before, he will now see a short list of recent projects they've done together. This helpful reference will assist customers in being able to easily recall his experience with that editor and access previous projects this editor has done to make it simpler to duplicate a project, create a template from an existing project, or to add a new service to a past project.

Music for Video Projects
Pixlmob's policy regarding music used in video projects ordered on the platform has always been that the customer should provide the music and should not rely on the editor to provide the music. We've added new reminders of this policy within the order form as well as within the checklist the editor sees when he receives an order. You can learn more about our music policy here.
Helpful Improvements for Editors
We're updating 2 features to make working on Pixlmob easier for editors:
- Editors can now easily rearrange the images in their portfolios by dragging and dropping the images into the new order they'd like them to appear on their profiles. This can be done from the portfolio tab of the editor's account.
- We utilize Stripe to process all payments across the platform and, depending on the country where the editor lives and the volume of revenue he receives, Stripe has varying requirements to satisfy the legal records necessary to continue to facilitate payouts to editors' accounts. Stripe controls what these requirements are and when they will be required. To make it easier and simpler for editors to know when something is required of them, we've moved this notification and will now display it by the editor's available balance.

Clarification on AI Clips projects
We utilize proprietary and 3rd party tools to generate AI Clips from edited images, which cannot be customized at this time. To eliminate confusion around how this service works, we've removed the instructions field from the order form.
We've also clarified the activity feed within the project: once the AI Clips are delivered, the customer can choose to either dispute the order because 1 or more clips are unusable or the customer can accept the order. Since these cannot be customized, we cannot accommodate revisions at this time. If the customer neither disputes the order nor accepts it within 3 days, the order is automatically accepted and the activity feed of the project is updated to reflect this.
We have several exciting new developments coming your way 1 week from today so stay tuned for more game-changing features from Pixlmob!
